Andy Akanagah invited me to participate in his solo exhibition: Hip-Hop Fusion. An immersive art exhibition featuring 3D motion prints, projection mapping, paper installations and interactive vinyl art - all based on hip-hop icons, past and present.
About the process
In this collaboration the idea was to bring Andy's illustration to the 3D world, for this I created a big paper crown held by two paper hands coming out of the poster as the main piece. In other section of the exhibition there were paper lamps with Andy's original sketches, those were fun to make, I had to design something that could be packed flat in order to transport it to Toronto efficiently.
