My Wedding chandelier

I got married in my hometown in Mexico, and a trend in the past 5 years has been to decorate the ceiling of the venue with some sort of decoration. So why not? I decided I wanted to create a huge paper chandelier for our special day.

About the process

With the help of a bunch of friends and family we managed to finish this huge project in two weeks. I cut hundreds of paper sheets into thin strips with different lengths, shapes and colours, then we attached them to a wooden base with string. It was definitely a statement piece at our wedding and one that I will cherish forever because it was a true collaboration of many many hands I Iove.
