National Art Gallery Gala Centerpieces

Client:

National Art Gallery

Year:

2025

The request was to create unique and elegant centerpieces for a winter themed gala at the National Art Gallery so I created 22 paper sculptures made out of off white tonalities using a curved folding technique to form organic fluid shapes that were paired beautifully with red flowers.

About the process

This project was a challenge because It required a lot of hours, every piece was creased and folded by hand. And I had to do that in Mexico while visiting my family. And it traveled back to Canada flat and carefully packed in my luggage. Then it was assembled and installed. Each piece was one of a kind.
