This special booth was commissioned by Chic & Swell for Ottawa Tourism. The goal for this project was to create a sustainable booth that stood out and could be re-used in 4 different tradeshows in Ottawa and Toronto. The concept that I came up with was to create a tourist map of the city and use some Icons to highlight the main attractions in Ottawa, I complimented the backdrop by painting a road map on ramboard and using it as flooring. I also made a couple of street signs naming some of the most popular neighborhoods using old carpet carboard rolls as posts.

About the process
It took me a whole month exclusively working on this project. I first created a backdrop made out of 6 cardboard panels that connected to each other, I used dozens of recycled boxes and glued them to the base to create a grid that resembled the city, complementing it by painting the Rivers in the city and on top I attached the logo and some icons with highlights of the city completely made out of carboard. I even installed lighting to the letters in the logo! Th flooring and the street signs were also sustainably made by me.
