Paper piece created with a curved pleating technique, mounted on a 20"x16" canvas protected with a 3" deep acrylic box. 
 
This paper eye is the mother and more detailed version of a small collection of eyes I created a few years ago. They were extremely popular so I just had to turn it into a bigger piece. This eye is composed by many petal-like small pieces and each is decorated with fine figures drawn with acrylic paint.
